Our qualified technicians can deal with any wituation. So whether you need a simple tune up or you require fine tuning for your week-end race, our technicians will meet your needs. We also custom build wheels to your specifications.
For 5 years he was the National Technical Services Manager at Shimano Canada in the bicycle components division. While at Shimano he also worked at numerous World Cup level mountain bike races in their Neutral Technical Support tent providing technical race support assistance to many well-known riders such as John Tomac (Johnny T), Jake "the Earthquake" Watson and Julia Furtada.
In 1993 he was at the Tour de France feminin as a one of the mechanics for Team Kalhua, a professional female cycling team. Kalhua which was North America's top ranked female cycling team included some of these well-known racers: Clara Hughes, Alison Sydor and Sue Palmer
Howard Lee also attended the United Bicycle Institute (in the USA) by winning a U.S. bicycle mechanics skills competition. Despite his many years of shop experience, UBI has allowed him to fine tune his technical skills through the completion of the Advanced Bicycle Mechanics & Wheelbuilding program.
More recently in september 2006 he took part in another bicycle mechanics skill competition at the Bicycle Trade Association of Canada trade show where he took first place. This contest which was organized by Techno Cycle was open to all attending the trade show.
